The Daily Fight
Freedom is a rhythm, not a moment

Freedom is a rhythm, not a moment
Deliverance can happen in a moment. Freedom is kept over a lifetime. The men who stay free are not the ones with the strongest willpower. They are the ones with the smallest daily habits held with the fiercest consistency.
The five daily rhythms
- Word before world. Open the Bible before you open your phone.
- Prayer that is honest, not polished.
- Confession to at least one other man who can call you up.
- A physical fight. Move your body. The flesh listens when the body is disciplined.
- A no-scroll window. Guard the gate of your eyes.
The enemy hates rhythm
He does not need to take you out in one blow. He just needs to break your rhythm for a week. Rebuild the rhythm. That is the fight.
Reflect
- Which rhythm has been missing the longest?
- What is the smallest daily practice you could restart tomorrow morning?
- Who can you text tonight to hold you to it?
