Freedom from the Past
“I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.”
The past can chain us with shame, regret, or nostalgia. But the apostle Paul reminds us to press forward. Not because the past wasn’t real or painful, but because it doesn’t define your future. Jesus has already paid for your past - now it’s time to live for what lies ahead. Don’t let your history keep you from your destiny. There is more waiting for you when you look forward with hope.

Jesus, I release the past to You. Help me fix my eyes on the future You’ve prepared for me. Amen.
