A Clean Heart
“Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.”
David’s cry for a clean heart is the humble prayer of someone who knows they’ve fallen - but also knows God's mercy is greater. No matter where you’ve been, God can purify and renew you. Don’t hide your heart - offer it up. He doesn’t condemn you. He cleanses and restores you. A fresh start is always available in the presence of your Savior.
Reflection
Take time to ask God today: “What in my heart needs cleansing and renewing?”
