Lesson 11 · 10 min
Victory Through Christ
The outcome the cross already secured.
Overview
Theme: Victory.
Key Scripture. "Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 15:57
What this step is about. The outcome of the war is not in question. Jesus already won. At the cross He disarmed the powers. In the resurrection He proved it. You're not fighting for victory. You're fighting from it.
Why it matters. People who forget the ending fight scared. People who remember the ending fight steady. When you know Jesus wins, you can lose a round and not lose your peace. You can be honest about a fall and not be crushed by it. The war has not ended, but the verdict is in.
What Scripture says. Colossians 2:15 - He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in Him. Romans 8:37 - in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Revelation 12:11 - they conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. The blood, the Word, and honest testimony still overcome.
Warpath truth. Do not confuse a hard day with a lost war. Get up. Look at the cross. Look at the empty tomb. Then take the next step of obedience. Victory is not something you achieve. It is something you walk in.
Pray
Jesus, thank You. The war is won. Teach me to walk in what You have already secured. Give me courage to testify to Your victory in my life. Amen.
Sit with this
No wrong answers. Take your time. Answer honestly, out loud if you can.
01
Where have you been fighting scared instead of steady?
02
What honest testimony do you have that the enemy would rather you kept quiet?
03
Who needs to hear that testimony?
Before you walk on
Today: tell one person one specific way Jesus has won in your life. Out loud. This week.
