Living the Message

Warpath Step 12. Having experienced a spiritual awakening through these steps, we sought to live these principles in all areas of life and to carry this message through how we love, serve, and walk with others.

Theme: Charity.

Key Scripture. "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses." - Acts 1:8

What this step is about. What God did in you is not just for you. Step 12 is the outward turn. You take what you have received and walk it into your home, your work, your friendships, and toward the next man who is where you used to be.

Why it matters. Freedom kept to yourself calcifies. Freedom given away multiplies. Jesus did not save you to make you comfortable. He saved you to make you dangerous to the darkness - starting with your own household. Your wife, your kids, your friends, and the man still bleeding out in silence all need what you now carry.

What Scripture says. Matthew 10:8 - freely you have received; freely give. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 - God comforts us in our affliction so that we can comfort others with the comfort we ourselves received. Mark 5:19 - go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you.

Warpath truth. You're not the hero of this story. You're a witness. Carry the message in how you live before you carry it in what you say. Then say it. Do not preach at people. Sit with them. Tell your story straight. Point to Jesus. Walk with one man the way someone walked with you. That is how the war is won - one honest man at a time.
